We’re looking for highly motivated, self-directed

candidates with strong communication and interpersonal

skills for Jail Deputy (Entry-Level).

Our Jail Deputies enjoy opportunities to work on a wide range of special teams

and assignments including; Search and Rescue, Hostage/Crisis Negotiation

Team, Courthouse Security, Electronic Home Detention and more.

Jail Deputies work three 12-hour shifts, plus one 8-hour shift every other week.

JOB DETA I L S :

Position Highlights:

• Earn over $50k your first year during training, plus $26k in benefits

• Earn vacation, sick leave and personal days during training

• Receive incentive pay for possessing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with

DPSST certification

Entry Level Qualifications:

• 21 years of age at time of employment

• High school diploma or GED

• Acceptable driving record

• Free from felony convictions

• Successful completion of REACT testing (passing score is 65) by close of recruitment

$54,166 – $59,748 annually

JOB DETA I L S :
Position Highlights:

county-paid retirement contributions, and more
• Earn vacation, sick leave, and personal days during training
• Receive incentive pay for possessing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
with DPSST Intermediate Certification
Entry Level Qualifications:
• 21 years of age at time of employment
• High school diploma or GED
• Acceptable driving record
• Free from felony convictions
• Prior to recruitment close date, candidates must pass
National Testing Network (NTN) Frontline Exam
(passing score is 65 or above for each section) and successfully
complete Oregon Physical Abilities Test (ORPAT).

I personally do believe that characters we watch on television portray a huge role in our lives. There are some television shows that heavily influence others' behaviors.
